Ms. Obrant has been producing fine art for over 30 years. Beginning her commercial career while a student at Parsons School of Design, she quickly established an enviable reputation as a superlative draftsman, garnering several prestigious honors. In expanding her repertoire to fine art, Ms. Obrant’s self-education began with an extensive examination of the works and visions of the masters of western and eastern art. Applying her skills as a painter to the fiber arts, Ms. Obrant produces unique crochet couture for private collectors and selected boutiques. (Obrant)
